Going PrivateHi G and girls
ive had a few people mention to me that they love the forum but dont want to post pics or vids because its not a private forum. how does everybody else feel about this?

I like the idea of the forum being open to everyone, but I am a bit wary about posting pictures and video on the internet and don't feel confident enough to do it myself yet. I don't think I would like it to be completely private, as less people will be able to benefit from the information and it might make it appear less friendly and discourage new people from joining. I am not sure that making the forum private would really provide protection for people who post pictures etc, as I guess anyone could become a member of the forum and view them if they wanted to (I'm not sure how these things work, so apologies if this is incorrect)?

hey aphid there is nothing incorrect about what you said, its your opinion and thats as valuable as anybody elses on the forum... i think i would prefer is open too.. Just curous to see where everybody stood on this one.

I agree with this.
Also, the internet is a place where you can speak freely. This is especially important in discussion forums. Having said this, I do understand your concerns. It is possible to make the forum a private members forum only, but there will be a small membership fee to join.
Please give me some feedback on this issue.

I don't think there should be a fee to join. I don't mind either way, just thought it might encourage the people who are shy, but if it ain't broke - don't fix it!!!

I like the forum to remain open to all, its not compulsory to post pics etc so if you feel uncomfortable then everyone should understand so there is no pressure.

Hmmm...I'm torn. One say keeps it open just incase I get banned again from another pole dance forum. lol
The other half says...close it. I think if people want to look at our clips and steal our moves then they should be contributing also.
Its up to you really. Its your forum.

Personally I'm not sure how much difference making the photo section members only would make to security - anyone can register with the forum, and just because someone has registered doesn't automatically make them non-dodgy as there is no way of security checking any information given.
If you had to pay a fee to register I think that would discourage casual pervs, but would also discourage casual pole dancers too, and it's nice to have forums open to anyone who just wants to drop by and see what pole is all about.
I would stick with the status quo myself - if you're happy posting images of yourself online then great, if not then don't do it - cause there's never going to be a failsafe way of guaranteing that only those you would wish to see you hanging upside down in porn boots are going to!
